Whew... It's been awhile since I've been to Jubilee Joe's and I've apparently been missing out on some good food. We went to JJ around lunch time. Luckily there wasn't a wait, so were seated immediately. It was a beautiful day outside and so they also had the option to sit at the outdoor bar. Since it was slightly windy, we sat inside. Our server was Carlos and he provided great service. Since it had been awhile, Carlos gave us some great suggestions and one of his suggestions was the fried green tomatoes and so we decided to order it as the appetizer. They were lightly battered and topped with lump crab meat. So delicious!! Also the Dijon sauce was perfect! I then ordered the stuffed grouper. Yummy!! It was stuffed with a crab cake like batter and it also came with mashed potatoes and baby spinach. The meal was cooked to order and well seasoned. It tasted very good. The restaurant itself was also pretty decent. Carlos noticed the table by us had food on the floor and so as soon as we were seated, he cleaned that spot up. All in all, great visit to JJ and will be back soon!

We haven't had a date night in awhile. So we decided going back to Jubilee Joe's. They do a great job to give the New Orleans decor. We both had a great dinner and our service was great. There were a lot of people outside enjoying the fall evening. Recommend you adding this restaurant to your date night restaurant schedule!!

Jubilee Joe's is hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to, especially if you love authentic Creole flavors! Their menu is a vibrant celebration of Creole cuisine, with dishes that showcase bold spices, fresh seafood, and rich, comforting flavors, all on top of their amazing service. I visited on a Thursday night, and the live music added the perfect touch of Louisiana charm, making the atmosphere lively and fun. We started the night with their Spicy Chile Margaritas, which had a fantastic kick--extremely spicy but delicious, especially with the Tajin rim that enhanced the Creole-inspired zest. For the main course, the Fish Platter with Gumbo was a standout, with the gumbo featuring a deep, flavorful roux and the kind of seasoning that hits all the right notes. The Chicken and Shrimp Alfredo, paired with hush puppies, was creamy, savory, and perfectly spiced, capturing the essence of Creole comfort food. The night wouldn't have been complete without their classic bread pudding, a traditional Creole dessert that was sweet, decadent, and the perfect way to wrap up the meal. Jubilee Joe's truly captures the heart of Creole cooking, making it a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of the South with a bit of New Orleans flair!

I had crab legs here during their crab fest. I got two crab clusters for $25. The crab was pretty good, but it was slightly overcooked, so I have definitely had better. Honestly, there's no reason to ever over- or undercook crab legs. If you steam them for five minutes, they're generally perfect. I did like that they had live music (I especially LOVED the dog sitting on the barstool with the band that was playing) and the service was on point.
